Pastor’s Background:

I began my ministry in 1980 at Macedonia church, the church I grew up in. I pastored Macedonia (now named New Life Fellowship) for 8 1/2 years. Upon which my wife and I felt a calling to go into the mission fields of Africa. Therefore, my wife, our 3 children, and I left our church and home to serve in Africa as missionaries for one year.

When we moved back home we started another church named Sanford Christian Center. We pastored there for 3 years. In 1996, we went back to the mission fields of Africa for 2 more years and brought our youngest daughter with us.

My wife and I were both born, raised, and continue to live in Lemon Springs. We have raised 3 beautiful children, who are now raising their beautiful children. This makes us the proud grandparents of 4 grandchildren.

The Church History:

Our Father's house was started in 1999 through meetings in our home. In no time, the congregation grew to approximately 30 faithful and supportive members. We decided as a group that we wanted to build a church.

Our goal for the church was to share the gospel with the community that we live in and love. During this time we had started the development of Upchurch Farm subdivision for our business. Hence, we set aside and purchased the property Our Father's House now sits upon. Our doors opened in the year 2000.

Our Into Africa Ministries has continued to flourish for 22 years and counting. We have many supporters, some of which are listed on our Affiliates page. Overall my family and I have spent a total of 3 1/2 years in the mission fields of the Zulu nation of South Africa. As time goes on I travel frequently to South Africa on misson trips to fulfill God's purposes for our ministry. Our main purpose is to establish churches both spiritually and physically. In the past we have built wells to provide the Zulu nation with fresh water. We have also participated in Evangelistic outreaches and door-to-door witnessing. We named it Into Africa Ministries because even though we have remained in South Africa, we plan on expanding our mission into Swaziland, Mozambique, and Zambia.
